It was pretty average.

The warm pool and the rustic decor were nice, and there were comfortable spots with sofas and tables, like little bungalows. The staff were polite and attentive, and the location is very convenient, about a 10-minute walk from Camburizinho beach. The complimentary dinner was served at the restaurant next door. It was a tasty, well-prepared à la carte meal served at a good temperature, with generous portions, and we got to choose a bottle of wine that was opened for us at dinner. The room we were first given, number 20, was a real letdown. It smelled strongly of mold, the bedding smelled used, and the bathroom had a poorly cleaned shower and toilet with stains. We arrived very late, so I could only raise it the next day. The receptionist Gleice helped promptly and moved us to room 11. That room had a better queen bed, more airflow, and no mold smell, though the cleaning was still poor. The minibar was empty and switched off. It felt like the room had not been prepared for guests, and the bathroom was tiny and very dirty. Rustic style is no excuse for not cleaning properly. The booking process also felt disorganized, with little communication or transparency. I felt there was a serious gap between what I had booked and what we got, even though the room issue was sorted the following day. We later heard that some rooms were being renovated, something they could have mentioned when we booked. The room names on the website are confusing, so if you don't check what each one includes and confirm it when you arrive, you could pay for one thing and get another. Breakfast is served at the restaurant next door, but the buffet warmers were very dirty and there was no proper hygiene around the food. The cut fruit looked past its best, and seeing how dirty the serving area was made it hard to eat. The inn needs a lot of maintenance, especially better cleaning throughout.

I enjoyed the stay, especially how flexible the hours were: check-in at 6 pm, check-out at 8 pm, and breakfast until noon. My room was large, maybe new or recently renovated, with a spacious bathroom and the sink outside it. On weekends the inn also has beach service with reclining chairs, which was really nice. We had dinner there too, the food was tasty and they have a wine cellar. I was treated well in general, though the woman at breakfast kept opening the little door, which made it feel like she wanted us to hurry up and eat.

The people serving us were friendly and polite, but the inn says it's for couples only, and that's not true. The pools are small, not enough for all the couples, and dirty, with visible slime along the edges. All the greenery makes the place feel damp and cold, and the sauna is only available from 6 to 9 pm. My room had a strong mold smell and lots of mosquitoes. The toilet cistern was faulty and made a constant dripping noise. The washbasin had yellow water and was clogged from the moment we arrived. The bed was extremely soft, so good luck if you have back problems. The Wi-Fi worked, and the TV had a few okay channels. Parking is split between two areas. The restaurant is separate from the inn but next door, with an à la carte dinner menu. The food looked okay but wasn't anything special, and needed more salt. The background music was awful. Breakfast was the saving grace in several ways, though the cakes were sunken but tasty. Skip the thin chocolate topping.
