My experience was already awful before I even got there. I messaged to ask for a quote, and they said they’d reply the next day but never did. If that’s how the first contact went, what could the rest be like? I’m glad they didn’t answer, since the stay might have been even worse. I can’t recommend them. Maybe they don’t need guests and have enough money saved up. There’s a reason the rating is 4.0 and there are several bad reviews. In reply: How many times is a customer supposed to contact you to ask the same question? I’d already asked once. If you said you would get back to me, then you had an interest in doing that too, didn’t you? From your response, you know exactly who we are, since you know exactly what time we contacted you. Interesting, right? I don’t think my review is unfair, because this was my experience, and it was awful. There are plenty of other bad reviews here, just like mine. Are all those guests unfairly against you and your inn? Please rethink your awful service so we can rate you the way you want, fairly!

I booked through Booking after speaking with the owner, Vitor, and agreeing on everything. Then he told me the dates I’d reserved weren’t available. That was a terrible way to handle it, and the experience was bad before I even visited. I’d suggest reading the Google reviews before booking, because I don’t think this accommodation is worth reserving. I’d give it a 10 if that rating were an option. I booked without reading the reviews, unfortunately.

The place is clean and quiet, and the location is great. The service was perfect.

The room had cockroaches, as did the room next door, and it was dirty. When we said we were leaving because of the cockroaches, the owner just said, “wow,” as if we were being fussy. We’ve spent many years visiting the north coast, often near the woods, and have never had to deal with cockroaches. The woman next door was going to spend the night in the shared area because of the bugs in her room too. To clarify: the owner says he let us check in late as a favor. We called to let him know about the delay, and we had already paid in full. He was quite rude.
