I was in STL for New Year’s, and although I didn’t stay at pousada do Ritmo Natural, I had the honor of being guided through Cânion Eldorado by senhor Valdeci. He knows a great deal about the local plants and wildlife and supported us throughout, making it an unforgettable experience. He also suggested good places to eat and visit. Thank you for everything.

We loved staying here. It’s clean, smells nice, and close to everything. The mezzanine is gorgeous.

There’s no garage, like at most inns in town, but you don’t really need one in such a quiet city. The place is about 100 m from Pirâmide and 400 m from the center, so it’s close to everything. It has three ensuite bedrooms with bathrooms, TVs, Wi-Fi, and a shared refrigerator. Each has one double bed and one or two single beds.

We slept badly because of outside noise. São Thomé gets pretty busy on weekends, and suite 260A is a garage adapted into a room, so it isn’t very comfortable. When we asked to switch, they said it was the only room available, although there weren’t any other vehicles or activity at the inn. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it.

We went on a trip with friends and didn’t stay at Ritmo Natural, but we did a tour with them. Our guide Priscila clearly loves nature and knows the area well. She gave us great tips and was a big help, especially since I have trouble with trails. With two days of tours, she suggested the best way to use both days and avoid rainy weather. I highly recommend her.
