Dona Rosângela was kind and attentive, and breakfast was really tasty. The inn is basic but comfortable, right in the center of São Thomé with shops nearby. There’s parking, though you do have to climb stairs to reach the rooms.

The breakfast area is small, and the service felt a bit expensive for what was offered. It’s a simple inn, and there wasn’t any soap or shampoo.

The hotel has a good setup, but the Sunday breakfast situation really bothered me. Reception told my mother and me it would start at 8, yet when we arrived then, every table was already taken. The room is small, and it seemed those guests had come in before 8. It felt like they’d been given priority, and I can’t help wondering why. I paid $230 for a night and couldn’t even get breakfast because of this. That’s unacceptable, and we won’t be back.
