Breakfast was a highlight, with loads of Brazilian cakes and all the usual local dishes. The hotel is well placed for its location, and the rooms are clean, though pretty bare: just one thin towel per person and no washcloths. The outlets said 110 volts, but my hairdryer blew within 30 seconds. The hot shower comes on demand, which is nice.

The receptionist was welcoming, and breakfast was good. My room was pleasant, with air conditioning, hot water, and a comfortable bed. It's clean too. The one thing I missed was a safe.

The place was very clean, and the staff were helpful. They don't speak much English, though that's pretty common around here. Their English was still much better than our Portuguese!
