Hotel Pousada Laje de Itauna

It was okay.

We had a really good Carnaval with my family. The hotel is old, but has a good setup: the rooms were freshly painted, had no musty smell, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was good quality and didn't disappoint. The location was perfect, just a few steps from the beach. It had a family atmosphere, and the staff were very polite and attentive. Parking is outside, on the street beside the hotel, but we had no problems and it didn't feel unsafe.

The hotel is old, and the kitchen was under renovation, so there was no breakfast. We had to walk 500 meters to the nearest bakery. The shower stall was very small, and parking is outside.

We stayed here over New Year's Eve, when places are usually crowded and chaotic, and this inn was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were tidy and super clean, the air conditioning was nice and strong, and the minibar worked great. Breakfast was excellent, and Marcelo and the rest of the staff treated us really well. We were comfortable and would definitely come back. The inn is perfectly located for walking to the beach, restaurants, and other places to eat. There's hotel parking, and if it fills up, it's easy to find a space nearby. The only small downside is that rooms facing the street get some traffic noise. That's normal, and not their fault.
