The best of the waterfalls for us was Lajeado, so save it for last. Moinho is more of a spot for photos, and both are beautiful. We were three, my partner, our dog Fofo, and me. The welcome was wonderful, everything matched what had been advertised, and the mother and son were kind and there whenever we needed them. Milho Verde is charming and calm, with polite people, little excess noise, and plenty of good bars, restaurants, and cafés. We’re sure to return again and again.

It was such a warm city! The stay itself was perfect, and the service was a 10. I also really appreciated having coffee and tea available during the day, a thoughtful touch that showed they think of others. There was a water dispenser too, so we could drink as much as we wanted.

The room was spacious, with clean bed linen and towels, and the location worked well, about a block from the Rosário chapel. The team were excellent, attentive, and helpful. I'd suggest bringing repellent and a plug-in mosquito repellent, and the owners could put screens on the windows to keep mosquitoes out.
