Grande Hotel Vergani

Too.

Hotel.

I’m speaking only from my own experience, and honestly, it was very positive. The hotel is quite old, but everything I saw was clean and organized. Our room was clean, the sheets were bright white, and the staff treated us well. I’m very fussy about cleanliness, and I really can’t complain. I came in worried because of the reviews, but I was pleased with what I found. Estela was very helpful, and everyone here was polite. I travel practically every month, so I do have plenty to compare it with. They’re clearly making an effort to improve, and I hope they keep it up. The place can only grow with the changes and renovations. Congratulations for not giving up, and may God bless your place more each day. ❤️

There was no porter, so we had to call the number posted on the door and wait for someone to answer. The man who came was welcoming, but didn’t seem sure whether the rooms had been cleaned. In our room there was just one towel for three of us, me, my husband, and my baby. I had to ask for a blanket, and there was no toilet paper. The hotel service was awful. The bed broke when I sat on it, the hotel is very old, and the corridors felt scary. The pool was dirty and looked abandoned. When we left, we put the key where the sleepy, confused man asked us to. After I’d already returned to my city, he called to ask about the keys. We had left them where he told us to. Everything was confusing and the place lacked proper facilities. I won’t return or recommend it. It’s a shame, because it could have been spectacular.
