The bathroom setup made the stay miserable: the toilet was clogged and stayed that way until we left, and with no shower screen and the floor all on one level, water got everywhere. There wasn't even a mirror in the room or a bathroom shelf for toothpaste, and nowhere to set a change of clothes. The bed was bad too. We had booked and arranged the stay back in November, but the room didn't meet even the bare minimum. When we complained, the owner was dismissive and arrogant, even after payment, instead of apologizing. Of the six inns and hotels we stayed at on that holiday, Pousada Marajó for you was the only one that was completely unsuitable. A really sad experience. I wouldn't recommend this little inn.

The balcony was a great place to unwind, with hammocks and hanging chairs. The inn is in a pleasant spot, close to everything, and the rooms were spotless and well equipped with new air conditioners and minibars. They're also investing in improvements, including adding another pool. A comfortable, peaceful place, definitely worth recommending.

I had such a good time at the inn and made the most of Soure too, haha. It was so peaceful, the service was good, and the whole vibe felt completely different from Belém. Already want to come back ❤️

Everything was clean, including the generously sized bathroom. I picked this hotel after seeing the good reviews and was glad I did. The bed was so comfortable I could've stayed in the room all day, and there were plenty of things to watch on the TV. I'll tell my friends about it, and we'd come back another time.
