Had lunch here. The atmosphere was calm, and the food was really good, though it took a little while.

There were maggots all over the cheese on the meat platter when it arrived. We sent it back. They apologized, but that was all, and they didn’t offer a discount on the other drinks we’d bought. I’m sure the food here can be good, but the amount of maggots on the cheese and meat and the way it was handled felt very unprofessional.

The rooms are basic but clean, and the river view is good. The folks were nice and the food was good too. Best electric showers I’ve come across in 30 years of traveling in Brazil, the Lorenzetti TopJet.

I’m just talking about the restaurant. The food’s great. I went twice in two days. There was live music Friday night, and you can feel the river breeze in the evening.
