Atlas Hotel Residence

I stayed for five weeks and had to switch rooms three times on the first day. The air conditioning didn't work in all the rooms, and there were cockroaches in the rooms and in the breakfast dining area, even crawling over the food. I reported it from day one, but nothing was done. I ended up buying insect spray at the supermarket and using it in my room and bathroom. Sr. Laureano was arrogant and rude. He even said I was the only one complaining. I was glad I'd filmed the cockroaches, since he seemed perfectly comfortable living with them, unlike me. I also contacted the owner so they could see what needs to improve. I did my part as a guest by reporting it to help avoid future problems, but after this experience I won't set foot there again. If they keep treating things this way, they'll lose customers.

I spent three hours in a room where the air conditioning didn't work. The receptionist checked the other available rooms and confirmed that their air conditioning wasn't cooling either, so I had to leave at night and find another hotel. They still charged me 120 reais for those three hours, saying that was the half-board rate and that I'd left by choice. That wasn't what happened. Since I left because of a problem with the hotel, they should have refunded the full amount. They advertise air conditioning in the rooms, but it doesn't work.

We came from Goiânia to Brasília to buy a car, but it got so late that we had to spend the night here on 24/07/2024. It worked out really well for us. The room was simple but felt cozy, and breakfast was simple too, but very good. If you're not too fussy, this is a great place. I'd stay again, and the night receptionist welcomed us warmly.

The price is way too high for what you get. The room is full of old things, the shower looks like a makeshift fix, the toilet wobbles on the floor, and the sink was clogged. The towels were old and torn, and the previous guest's bedding hadn't been changed. Breakfast was brought to the room, but every day it was just one bread roll, a banana, a cheese bread, and margarine. The reception area reeks of cigarette smoke, like someone's always smoking there. This is a 60-real-a-night kind of hotel, and there are plenty of other things that need attention.
