The front desk service was awful. We booked a room for two guests as Choice members, but staff said they'd charge us more because my wife wasn't listed on the reservation. They wouldn't speak to me because I'm an American man. Now, while we're checking in as Choice members and using points, they're telling us we haven't paid!
The receptionist wasn't friendly or willing to help customers, and check-in turned into a huge queue.
I stayed here in January 201 and again in January 2019. The rooms were really nice, clean, and fresh, and the beds were comfortable. Every staff member was lovely and willing to help. One of them knew enough English, too. It felt very secure, and the location was good, close to hosts who live nearby. Great value for money, and breakfast was very good. I liked taking my time over it. Hopefully I'll see you all in late January or early February 2020, so please keep a room for me.
The hotel is very basic, with old furniture and a simple breakfast that didn't include fresh juice. At check-in, their system was slow and they couldn't find my booking, so it took about half an hour to get the key at 1:30 a.m. When I went to wash my hands, I noticed dark stains on the towel. I wouldn't return, even at a low price.
The rooms are nice, breakfast is good, and the room service food is nice too. The downside is that even when you ask, they only change the towels once a week.
