S4 Hotel

It's near restaurants and a mall, which is handy, but room service only runs at lunchtime. The rooms are reasonably clean. Sheets are basic, and the shampoo and soap are poor quality.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and both visits were amazing. The breakfast buffet has plenty of fresh fruit, which I love, the rooms are clean, and the staff are really helpful.

The restaurant was pleasant and breakfast was good, and the beds were comfortable enough. But I wouldn't say the hotel is worth the price. There were no washcloths or hand towels, and the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting, so I had to reconnect each time. The elevator only stops at your own floor, which means taking the stairs to visit another room. The pool was closed for most of the week we stayed. Bedbugs bit my legs, and other people in our team were bitten too. Also, only one person at reception spoke English.

The rooms are modern and clean, and the staff are always kind. The location is convenient, just a few blocks from commercial buildings and shops. Downtown takes around 15-20 minutes by car or 30-40 minutes by subway. One downside at S4 hotel is how disorganized things can feel. They're often changing services and routines, and sometimes guests aren't properly told about the changes.
