I’ve never had a host treat a guest so rudely or unprofessionally. When I asked about a ride to the airport, they tried to haggle over the price, and their driver wanted to charge me 25% more after finding out I was a gringo. That’s after the website claims they help with dietary needs and special requests. The shower heaters also have taped electrical connections and a switch within reach while you’re standing under the shower. Like other reviews noted, I’m certain they aren’t using GFCI breakers, and they don’t seem to care about the risk of electrocution. Don’t go here, and don’t trust the website.

The building is old and worn out, and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. The shower only gave cold water. They kept trying to fix it, without success, until 9:30 pm, which ruined our evening.

The cats are part of the magic here 😻. This is a little paradise in Taiba, peaceful and green, with friendly kiteboarding folks. The room was lovely and clean, and the beach is close by. Perfect.
