The staff were shockingly uninformed, offered no service, and didn’t speak any foreign languages. Maybe that’s worth 4 stars by Brazilian standards, but for people used to civilized service, I’d give it 2 at most.

The beach was nearly empty and right nearby, which was lovely, though this hotel is more toward Tamandaré than Praia dos Carneiros, as I’d first assumed. The staff were really friendly, and the food was okay. I especially liked the tasty, elaborate cocktails and the finger food. Breakfast was decent, not amazing. The building is about 15 years old and badly needs maintenance. We had to point out several small problems: mold in the bedroom, a balcony door that wouldn’t lock properly, and stained sheets, even though they were clean. After rain, lots of little frogs made quite a racket. It was an okay stay, but I’d expected more.

The food and drinks were fantastic, and the staff were wonderful, especially the waiters by the pool and beach. My fiancé and I stayed for five days and had a great time. The hotel is a bit outdated, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable, though the place was kept up nicely. We’re already planning to come back next year.

I had a lovely, affordable time there. The beach really lives up to its name, with soft white sand, and the local musician’s live music was a pleasure to hear.

The restaurant food was great, the pool was excellent, and the beachfront was amazing. The place had also been freshly painted. On the downside, there was mold in the shower, the toilet seats need replacing, and the bed sheets were stained.
