Lanai Beach Residence

The restaurant's hours were the main drawback for us. It closes at 3 PM, so dinner isn't available unless you're happy cooking a frozen lasagna from the self-service area or eating chips, and you need to bring any other ingredients yourself. There's a beach restaurant nearby, but it only serves during the day. The breakfast buffet is very good and costs 35 Reais. The Apart Hotel itself is lovely, with tasteful, beautiful, new interiors, a nice pool, and a spot right on the beach.

Getting to the condominium can be tricky with digital maps or GPS, including Wase. At the restaurant, the shelled shrimp portions are so limited that you have to reserve them ahead of time. It also doesn't open for dinner, which makes things harder for visitors since Tamandaré has very little transport, especially Uber or taxis.

The private pool was so full of chlorine that we couldn't use it, and my beach wrap blew into it and got stained badly enough that I had to throw it away. We used the condominium's shared pool for two days instead. The ground-floor place is right in front of the sea, and they provide beach chairs and an umbrella. It costs more, but it's a distinctive place and probably worth it for people looking for that. Next time, though, I'd choose a room without a pool.

Jefferson is an absolute gem, and the staff were fantastic. The accommodation itself is modern, beautiful, and welcoming, with direct access to the sea and a beach that feels like a dream. Great for a trip with family or friends.
