Pousada Recanto Canaã

Scam! I rented this place and paid half upfront, then two days before the stay they moved me to another inn that was a dump and much worse in location and everything else. You’d have to see the place they stuck me in to understand how bad it was. They charged me as if I’d stayed here. Don’t fall for it!

Be careful, it’s a scam. The inn is closed. When I arrived, the owner told me she wasn’t renting it out and that this was a scam. I’m now looking for another inn, then I’ll take legal action.

I loved my stay. The people were really nice, and it’s under new management now. Clean rooms and a pleasant atmosphere, with wonderful value for money. Breakfast was homemade and really well prepared. Best of luck to the new owners. We’ll be back soon 🙏🏻

The rooms were damp and in bad shape, and the staff weren’t very friendly. It also felt like poor value for money, especially since the place is far from both the center and the beach. They charged us extra for paying by credit card, even though that fee wasn’t listed on Booking.com. There are much better places for a lot less.
