Ibis Tangara Da Serra

I come to Tangará several times a year, and I keep staying here. I’m glad this hotel opened. The pleasant, clean atmosphere, good service from the waiters, and decent reception service are all reasons I like it. I also like the rooms and bathrooms, and don’t miss having a face towel. The hotel is 220V, which should be easy to find in hotel information, especially when I need to use my hair dryer. Breakfast is a favorite of mine. They offer fresh eggs, omelets, and tapioca, and I appreciate that they put up a sign saying so. Some hotels leave that information out, maybe because it means extra work. There’s parking, and the gym is open around the clock. It has two treadmills, an elliptical, some weights, and an ab roller, which is enough to keep up with training on the road. More weights or a leg machine would make it ideal. I’d also love them to add omelets to the dinner menu at night.

The breakfast cost us almost as much as a night at the hotel, and the stay itself left a lot to be desired. The bathroom shower stall was so cramped there was barely room for one person to wash their hair. It had no lock, and water ran across the whole bathroom because the space was so tight. Honestly, this hotel chain won’t be my first choice.

We’ve always had a 10 out of 10 welcome at Ibis Tangará, and I love staying at Ibis. The hospitality was good this time too, but something left me really upset. My family and I were moved to another room, and in the rush to deal with a medical situation involving my daughter, I forgot my phone charger on the bed, under the pillow. I planned to check for it when I got back later. My husband asked at reception, but they said it hadn’t been found. I know it was my mistake to leave it behind, but I feel it should have been kept so it could be returned. I was out the cost of a charger, and it could have been something much more expensive. Someone kept it. I’d expect anyone who valued their job at a well-known and well-liked chain like Ibis to report it to reception. I don’t blame the hotel itself, but someone there didn’t meet the standard of service we usually receive. The people responsible that day also seemed uninterested in sorting it out.

The hotel was organized, clean, and comfortable, which rounded out my stay nicely. I’d say this is the best Ibis I’ve stayed at. Luslene welcomed me at reception with warmth, courtesy, and quick help, just what I needed after traveling. After I went out to work, the same great service continued when I returned. I had dinner at the hotel, and the food was wonderful. Naziele and Léo served me with real care, courtesy, and attention to good service. I work with the public, so I know how hard it is to deliver good service every day. Ibis Tangará da Serra did that beautifully. I recommend it without hesitation.
