Ibis Tatui

The reception staff were kind and accommodating, even after they made a mistake with my room, and breakfast was good. Those were the only reasons I didn’t give one star. For what I paid for just two nights, the hotel wasn’t worth it, especially given that it’s two hours from São Paulo city. I assume the Ibis brand is what makes it expensive. I paid extra for breakfast, but nobody checked whether guests had actually paid for it with their room. It seemed like anyone could just come in and eat. The outlets in my friend’s room didn’t work, and mine was full of mold. There was mold on the walls and curtains, and both shower heads were caked with buildup. Absolutely disgusting. I expected Ibis to have decent cleaning standards. I can find a cheaper place with nice staff and food. I don’t recommend this hotel because of the cleanliness, though it could be a reasonable option if they start deep cleaning the rooms.
