Portofino Hotel Prime

You get the bare basics you'd expect from a place to stay, and I mean the basics. The room has a bed that seems to have springs, but it was still comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, though not very practical: the light switch is behind the door, which could have been a sliding door to save space. There's no hot shower, and the room has no window. There are very few outlets, especially near the bed, which feels like a serious flaw these days. The breakfast is typical of lodging in the Northeast, but the selection is quite limited, partly because of the space. There are only about 4 small tables, so on busy days you need to get up early or wait for a seat. The front desk is open 24 hours, and there's a phone in the room and free Wi-Fi with a good connection. The hotel is about equally far from Teresina airport and bus station.

The room was spacious and clean, but there was no hot water, just a cold shower because of a fault in the building's electrical circuit. If you don't mind going without hot water, it could be a good option.

The location is good, the staff were wonderful, and breakfast was okay. The place was very clean. But having no windows in the rooms gives them a claustrophobic feel.

The hotel is centrally located, and check-in was quick and simple. The bathroom was clean, and there was a garage for guests. It also had a hair dryer and soap. Breakfast was generous, with juice and a sandwich maker available, and there was a menu for coffee and small meals. There's a restaurant next door, which is handy, but it doesn't open on Sundays. There isn't anywhere nearby to walk to, so I'd suggest downloading a food delivery app and ordering in when the restaurant is closed.
