Apartamentos Orrit Real State

We were comfortable in the apartment and had a great time in Pipa. It was very clean, the balcony had beautiful beach views, and the person we dealt with was attentive and made sure we were comfortable. There was construction next door for almost our whole stay, with drilling from the morning that sounded like it was happening inside the apartment. I understand they couldn't prevent it, but it would've helped to warn guests. It wasn't pleasant on vacation. Also, the Booking.com listing mentioned a grill, but it had been removed because of a problem. They managed to provide an electric oven, which was fortunate since our cooking options would otherwise have been very limited.

The bedsheet was lovely, but the bed itself was awful. It made an irritating noise with every little movement. I don't mind two single beds pushed together, but they did a poor job of joining them. The fitted sheet was a single, and you could feel the difference between the mattresses. At other places I've stayed, they used a larger fitted sheet or more than one to cover the joined beds, so the seam was barely noticeable. There were several other problems. The kitchen tap never gave us water for use, yet dripped nonstop. The person in charge wouldn't let us stay on the first or second floor, even though we'd booked about eight months ahead and wanted something special to celebrate two years together. The hot shower stopped working on our second day. The pool seemed to lack daily maintenance, and the only way to reach it was through the apartments. Coming back sandy meant crossing the whole home to reach the outdoor shower; after swimming, we'd have to walk through the home wet to get to the bathroom. The plants on the pool deck were so overgrown that from room 01 we couldn't see the sea. I was going to give three stars, but the more I remembered, the less the post-pandemic price seemed worth it. Booking through Airbnb meant getting assigned a room at random, and we had to put up with all these issues. The view while climbing the stairs, almost inside other guests' verandas, wasn't worth the cost or the lack of care for guests.

The location is excellent, right on the main avenue in the middle of all the shops. There isn't a parking lot, but there are a few inexpensive options nearby. Our apartment was huge and had all the basic things we needed. The shared outdoor area has a wonderful view, and the pool is an ideal depth for adults. Even the ground-floor rooms have a good sea view, though the upper rooms look out farther.
