Chalés Beijupirá

Ana and Rodrigo make you feel truly comfortable in this beautiful, spacious apartment. It has high ceilings, lovely decorative details, complete tableware, and was impeccably clean. The street is very quiet, has limited access, and feels very safe. You’re a few blocks from the beach, close enough to get there easily but far enough to avoid the crowds and noise. The location is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Ana is lovely, and the chalet is really nice, with everything you need to live there. But for the price of the nightly stay, after ten days there should be enough to invest in a mattress that would pay for itself over a year. As it is, sleep suffers. Once you lie down, it feels like you’re being swallowed by the mattress. Are you going to enjoy Pipa without getting proper rest or recharging? Cleanliness matters too. I don’t mind cleaning the air conditioner, but there’s a concrete ledge above the wardrobe where clothes are kept. Dust and mites there triggered a bad allergy when I woke up. Even after cleaning the air conditioner, I had to sweep and mop to be able to walk barefoot. There was a thick layer of dust that seemed to have built up over years. I had to climb onto a taller chair, then use a sturdy wooden stool from the kitchen to clean it. If you don’t have a dust allergy, are willing to get everything completely clean, and can put up with Pipa without a good mattress, I’d recommend the place. I hope they take the hint and make some changes. Spending on the setup after ten days out of the 365 in a year isn’t asking too much. Cleaning would be easier if a ladder and supplies were available. There aren’t many outlets in the bedroom, so bring extension cords. I’d also avoid the thick black blanket. It didn’t seem to be used much, and mine smelled of mites. Clean sheets stored in clear bags could help prevent that. The other bedding was very clean and smelled nice. I’m mentioning this because there are things to improve, and I do hope to come back and stay with them. I was too polite to speak more openly about these issues, and even if I had, nothing would have changed in the moment. It depends on whether they’re willing to fix what isn’t working. Maybe next time there’ll be nothing but praise. A big hug.

The chalet was perfect, super comfortable, and without a fault. Ana was a fantastic host and supported us completely at every moment. It was the best stay I’ve had.

Ana and Rodrigo gave excellent service, and the apartment is comfortable with everything you need for a few days at the beach. It’s six blocks from the center. The walk follows cobblestones and goes up and down.
