Morada dos Ventos

The staff were welcoming, the rooms were excellent, and breakfast was excellent too. The garden is beautiful, with iguanas and the occasional visit from small monkeys, or saguim. The whole place has very good taste. It’s an exquisite space unlike anything I’ve seen, simply wonderful and highly recommended.

The owners were especially kind and helpful, and they speak English. The apartments are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the whole hotel is beautiful. Breakfast was really good too. The pools were clean, though sadly only about 1.5 m deep. I liked staying here and recommend it.

The apartments were spacious and comfortable, with a balcony or outdoor spot with a hammock and table. The AC worked well, and they can provide a desk for remote work. The kitchen is very basic, though you can borrow things like a knife and cutting board, and there's a large supermarket five minutes away. It's a little tucked away, about a 15 minute walk to the center or Praia do Amor. I really didn't want to leave Morada dos Ventos. There are lots of places to sit, relax, and work, and the space is beautiful. Staff were lovely and went out of their way to help. Wifi was steady throughout, around 150-250 Mbps and good for video calls. The coworking area is currently an open air room by the breakfast cafe with a few outlets; a handful of people worked there, and a few nomads were staying at the pousada. There aren't many community events yet, so at this stage it feels more like a pousada with very fast wifi. Breakfast is included every day, with coffee, juice, eggs cooked how you like them, tapioca, fruit, and assorted breads. A lovely start to the day.

That breakfast waiting for us outside the door and on the table each morning was such a wonderful way to begin the day. The food was amazing just about everywhere, too. Archie&Tanya, Mike and I were looking at your website and wow, it's beautiful. We miss you both and have been remembering our time there. Your warmth and hospitality meant so much, and you were always going out of your way for us. You're amazing hosts, and we hope to return one day. We'll see each other again. Hugs!
