I went there with the Couchsurfing group in 2017. When we arrived, they wouldn’t provide the remaining bed. During the night, there was a pointless argument. As I remember it, after the other events I mentioned, the people staying at the hostel started seeing me as misogynistic, sexist, and a jerk, and I ended up without a bed. They wouldn’t apologize, and there was no refund or reimbursement. I wasn’t kicked out, but the situation in the shared room became very unpleasant, and afterward the other guests weren’t comfortable around me.

Everyone in our group of 16 was looked after really well. The main downside is that most beds are double beds. The facilities are very well maintained, with a garden where you can have breakfast, a pool, and the beach very close by. Excellent hostel, highly recommended.

It’s well located on Pipa’s main street, near the entrance to the road for Praia do Amor. A great location if you enjoy lively nights.
