From the pool terrace, the view stretches along the beach all the way to Pipa. There’s private access to a lovely beach, with even a small surf spot. The garden is beautiful and full of wildlife, from hummingbirds and iguanas to monkeys. Our room was spotless, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. A beautiful place, definitely worth the stay!

The view is amazing, and the cozy chalets sit among lawns and gardens. Everything was very clean, including the small pools, though they feel undersized in high season. I didn’t get to try the hotel restaurant during my stay, but it was clean and well organized. The hotel also gives access to a fantastic restaurant by the sea, with exceptionally helpful, polite staff. Getting there means going down and back up a long staircase. Tibau has lots of cliffs, so reaching the beaches generally involves a long descent. The hotel itself is in a somewhat awkward spot and can be hard to reach.

I only stopped at the oceanfront restaurant, not the hotel. Service was very good, and the food and prices were decent. It was much quieter than the nearby beaches, probably because currents and rocks make swimming in the ocean dangerous.
