I was one of just a few guests, and it felt like nobody really cared whether I was comfortable. Construction in the room above started at 6:30 every morning, with pounding so loud I couldn't sleep. Workers also played Brazilian music from sunrise, even though a sign by the pool says “no speakers.” I had no blankets or soap, and breakfast was very mediocre. The worst part was small bits of ceiling falling from upstairs while they banged on it with a metal board. I was worried the whole time that something would hit me. The owner was very nice, but with things like this it's hard to believe they care about their guests. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
