We had a fun, safe stay at Sun Bay, and I’d likely return. The location right at the entrance to Pipa Beach is handy, the pool area is lovely, and the rooms are great. Food at the on-site restaurant was good too. The only small annoyances were tight parking and a smell around the property during the hottest part of the day. Neither bothered us much.

The pool area was a great place to relax, and breakfast was really good, with typical Brazilian food. I had a great time and would recommend the hotel. I just wish the rooms were better, even though I liked the shared areas.

It’s in a really convenient spot in Pipa, with very good amenities. The reception team could be a little warmer, though. Breakfast gets crowded, especially the tapioca line, which is clearly a local favorite, so go early.

A nice resort in laid-back, hippie Pipa, just a few minutes’ walk from the center along the main road. Breakfast comes with the stay. Try the quiejo assado where they make the tapioca omelets, and don’t miss the free welcome drink, the cachaça.

Everything’s within walking distance, including local shops. It’s a beautiful spot, with an excellent team and a great breakfast.
