Chalés Belo Vale

The chalé is in a quiet, secure residential area, just a few minutes from central Tiradentes. It's a great value, with a good layout and comfortable space for up to three adults. My only constructive suggestion is to look into adding a window where the air conditioner is now, if that fits the business model. Natural airflow could help with the heat, and that change would make the chalé perfect.

The chalés are clean and well organized, and the remote service was very efficient and helpful. Breakfast comes right to the room, though the variety and freshness could be better: the bread seemed stale, the juice wasn't fresh, and the cake was already a bit dry. Staying longer does at least mean you won't have exactly the same breakfast each day. The distance from the city center is a drawback if you don't have a car. The air conditioner is old and quite noisy, so it should be replaced with a more modern one. Those are areas to improve, but overall it's still a great place to stay.

What a terrible stay. On New Year's Eve, the power went out for hours, and there was no one on site or reachable by phone to help. The electric gate wouldn't open, so my car was stuck in the garage all night. I was late to an event and had to find a taxi to get around that night. We also had no hot water in the shower on any of the days. I complained to the pousada every day, but nothing was fixed, and the water was really cold. The place had the potential to be great, but after this experience I won't return.

The chalés are pleasant and come with air conditioning, internet, parking, and a complete breakfast brought to you. The one drawback is the distance from the historic center. You need a car to get there since part of the way is along the road.
