Hostel Tiradentes

Clean place, great service, and a very nice breakfast. No problems at all.

Quiet, pleasant, and well organized. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but really tasty.

Otávio takes great care of the place and is so attentive and helpful. It's a cozy, peaceful hostel, very clean, with a grandmother's-house feel and nature nearby. The location is great, close to the bus station and main sights. Breakfast is delicious, with typical Minas food. Hot shower and towels are included in the price, and the kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook. I recommend it!

If you want to visit Tiradentes without spending a fortune, I really recommend staying here. It's probably one of the few affordable places with a great location, so you can get around and explore on foot. There's the usual hostel setup with shared rooms, plus a small chalet for rent with a bathroom and kitchenette, perfect for two or three people. There's also a private room outside the house. It has no bathroom, but it's a good option if you want some privacy and don't want to mix with everyone else. I'd stay somewhere like this a thousand times over a place far away where I'd need a car for everything. It's near the bus station too, which matters if you're arriving by bus. And there's a pool!
