The owners were attentive, and the grounds have plenty of greenery. The pool and bathrooms were clean, and breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and well sanitized, though housekeeping could be better about replacing towels and other missing items. I kept having to ask for things. Pousada Quinta da Esperança is well located, about 2 km from central Tiradentes.

What a disappointment. When we arrived to sleep, there were small animal droppings on the double bed. We thought it was strange, then lifted the bedspread and found rats. Horrifying. We left in the middle of the night, and as we were leaving the room, another rat came out from under the door of the pantry kitchen.

The place really is very good. If you haven't been, you might enjoy chatting with sr Eduardo and having the coffee Ana makes. For me, it would be ideal if they also served lunch and dinner. When I go away to rest, I don't like having to head into town just to get a meal. I want to come back next year.

The area feels peaceful and charming, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. Breakfast is generous and varied. The owner is very helpful, kind, and friendly. I recommend it.

Juliana, one of the owners, was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help us as best she could. The setting is very pleasant, but the facilities could be much better. The pool was in poor condition. For a farm hotel, there should be more food choices: they only serve breakfast and a small tea or coffee in the afternoon, with nothing to go with it.
