Pousada do Largo

The free parking was a real help, even though it’s about two or three blocks from the pousada. We also got great service from Bernardo at reception, who was polite and helpful, and Sida looked after us warmly at breakfast. That breakfast, served at the group’s partner pousada, Pequena Tiradentes, was a standout. There was a big selection of fresh, beautifully presented food, including local cheeses and Brazilian and Mineiro flavors. You could make your own tea from dried herbs, prepare coffee to your liking, and get freshly made juices, plus an energy shot with herbs from the region. The setting at Pequena Tiradentes was beautiful, cozy, and special in its own right. The pousada is in a great location and offers excellent value. It was a complete, carefully looked-after experience and well worth it. I’d highly recommend it.

The hot chocolate with peanut cookies was just perfect! Our room was immaculate, and the pousada is in the best location. Bernardo especially stood out among the staff. The attention we received from him really stayed with us.

Bernardo welcomed us so warmly at the Pousada do Largo’s main building, where we stayed on the ground floor. He was exceptionally polite and helpful, and gave us great restaurant tips. Thanks again for all the care! The square is right outside, with lots of wonderful restaurants nearby and an ice cream shop next door. It’s a great spot if you want to leave the car parked and get around on foot. Inside, everything was clean and nicely decorated, with excellent linens and a cozy feel. There were little treats on the bed, cookies and chocolate, and the double shower in the stall was the best hotel shower I’ve ever seen. We’ll make this our place to rest the next time we’re in Tiradentes. Thank you, Bernardo!

Bernardo welcomed us warmly, gave us tips, and helped with everything we asked for. The team were attentive and responsive throughout our stay. We stayed in the main building of Pousada do Largo, which has annexes too, right on the central square, Largo das Forras. Our excellent room was upstairs. Everything was clean and working perfectly, with a new, comfortable mattress and good quality, clean bedding. The bathroom had two showers with excellent pressure, and the towels were changed every day during room cleaning. Breakfast was excellent and served at Pousada Pequena Tiradentes, part of the same group. When we return to Tiradentes, this will certainly be our first choice.
