Kátia makes almost everything for breakfast, and her corn cake was simply amazing. There was plenty to choose from, and breakfast was excellent. The internet signal did fluctuate quite a bit. We chose the pousada for its location while spending New Year’s Eve in town, and it turned out to be just a few meters from the square. The place is nicely put together, with rustic but modern, cozy furniture. Kátia and her daughters welcomed us with lots of care and attention. The room was a great size, with a comfortable bed, quality bed and bath linens, a very good shower and a balcony that kept things cooler. We were in a room without air conditioning. Even with the ceiling fan it was still warm, though it didn’t disrupt our stay. The pousada said it plans to add air conditioning to all accommodations because the city has been getting hotter. I recommend it and hope to return soon.

The breakfast was a highlight, generous and with a good range of cakes, breads, jams, fruits like strawberries, bananas and watermelon, plus fresh juices. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, good pillows and a large bathroom shower enclosure. There was also a small balcony for ventilation. This family run pousada is managed by Kátia and her two daughters, whose thoughtful, attentive service really made a difference. It has a rustic charm, with reclaimed wood furniture that suits the town’s style. The location is excellent, about 100 meters from the main square, so getting around on foot is easy. I had a very good stay in Tiradentes and recommend it.

A wonderful peaceful place to rest, with a lovely breakfast in the morning and a real feeling of friendship. Kátia and her family run this delightful spot. It’s right in the center of Tiradentes but away from the bustle, in a new building with historic touches. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Simply wonderful!

We came back in July 2025, unsure whether the service could be as good as last time. Somehow it was even better! We don’t know how they manage to top themselves, but they do. We were just passing through Tiradentes and stayed at Pousada Pouso Diva. What a charming place! It was clean and beautifully decorated, close enough to the center that we could leave the car parked at the pousada and walk. At the same time, it was so quiet and peaceful, you’d hardly think we were just meters from Tiradentes’ main square. Breakfast was plentiful, with fresh products. The host’s yogurt was delicious!
