De Rose Centro Hotel

Really great.

Just average.

A 100% hotel.

The hotel is well located, and the staff who welcomed us at night were friendly. I stayed there with my wife during the week of the balloon festival, while visiting the city. We paid R$ 350 for one night. I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but I do care about the basics being in order. The garage was excellent, though it was a little inconvenient to have to ask staff to open and close the gate each time, since guests apparently don't have direct access or a control. The shower water never got properly hot, so my shower was somewhere between lukewarm and cold. The TV had no signal either. I contacted the staff, and one of them kindly came up to check. He said it had no antenna and offered to look for one. That was considerate, but I feel the room should have been ready for guests without that sort of issue. Breakfast was very basic, really basic. I've stayed at cheaper hotels with a much fuller breakfast. I also missed a warmer welcome at checkout. There wasn't even a goodbye or an invitation to come back. The team who greeted us may have changed during the day, but I still felt the end of the stay could have been more welcoming. The location is good, but the hotel could pay more attention to the details and guest experience.
