Pousada Ilha dos Lobos

Being able to walk to restaurants and shops, and not being far from the center or Mampituba River, made the location really handy. The beach is right there too, which works well if you're out most of the day. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choices for a hotel this size, and we could borrow beach chairs and an umbrella for free. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable, but our apartment faced the neighboring hotel across a narrow lightwell, about 4 by 1 meters, so ventilation wasn't great and mold was starting in the bathroom. Parking was cramped, and we had to leave our keys at reception so staff could move cars around, which was inconvenient when we wanted to use ours. There's a large communal kitchen, and food can be delivered if you ask reception. The water is potable, a supermarket is 2 km away, and there are several restaurants nearby. Good value for the money.
