Pousada Caminho do Mar

We had to ask to move because the room they gave us was unfit to stay in: it was dirty, dark, had an unbearable mold smell, and the air conditioner was in terrible shape. Breakfast was awful too. Everything was dry, including the bread and cakes, the cold cuts were very poor, and the only fruit was a few small pieces of papaya and melon. I would never recommend it.

We were three people and paid 350 reais, which seemed reasonable. The place is simple but has what you need: clean beds, towels, parking, and a breakfast buffet. There's also a warm-water pool and a barbecue grill. The rooms are adequate, and the hotel felt pleasant for our family. It's a good choice if you're passing through or staying a few days. I've stayed in plenty of overpriced places that weren't worth it, so I'd happily come back here.

On our first stay at this pousada, Elise at reception looked after us really well and was very attentive. The place was quiet and pleasant, and we could park right in front of our room. Good value for the money.

We stopped here for one day on the way through. The staff were really friendly, the room was excellent, and breakfast was delicious. I'd come back!
