Casa Dos Patos

It’s about a five-minute walk to the beach, which was a big plus. Our room’s bed was quite comfortable, and breakfast was very good. The inn also has lots of green areas and a peaceful, pleasant feel.

The hotel is lovely and cozy, and the breakfast had a good range of options. Staff were attentive and helpful. It’s in a very quiet area, two blocks from the beach. We drove there, but got around on foot, with good restaurants nearby.

The place has a good setup, but it really needs maintenance. Our room’s air conditioner didn’t cool, the TV and internet weren’t working, the bathroom door was awful, and the shower was poor. They provided cups but no sponge or detergent to wash them. After we complained, the manager moved us to a “better” room and said we should take it as a “gift” for the couple. It was better, but the bathroom door was still difficult to open and close. Then my husband sat on a chair and it came apart, making him fall. Thankfully, he wasn’t badly hurt. I can’t recommend it.

We stayed at Bangalô Prôa for two nights, and the private pool was lovely. Breakfast was brought right to our room, which was great. Whenever we had a question or needed something, we could message reception, and Sara and Thais always helped quickly. My wife and I had an excellent stay. We plan to come back and will recommend it to friends and family.
