Fantastic!

The staff made a great impression, they were attentive, polite, and efficient. We were completely satisfied with our stay. The pousada is right by the natural pools, just a 3-minute walk or about 150 meters away, and it’s quiet and spacious. Restaurants and markets are close by too. Our room was simple but roomy, with a comfortable double bed and an extra single one. There’s a well-kept lawn and a pleasant pool for cooling off at the end of the day. Breakfast is made to order, with coffee, milk, juice of the day, breads, cold cuts, cake, honey and butter, plus a generous plate of fruit. Hot tapioca, cuscuz, eggs and omelets are prepared fresh as well.

The location worked perfectly for us, close to the town center and the beach. We left the car in the parking area and got around on foot. Breakfast was a highlight: you choose from an à la carte menu at a set time, and it’s all made fresh. It was delicious, and I liked that this approach avoids waste. The kitchen staff were lovely and especially attentive to my baby, always ready to make what he needed. Our room was comfortable, and the staff were courteous and helpful, just as you’d expect. The air conditioner stopped cooling properly after a power cut on Friday and never really got back to normal. These things happen, but it still wasn’t working as it should afterward. Luckily, I always travel with a fan because of my son, so we slept well. One small suggestion: more lighting around the pool at night, especially by the shower, would make it feel safer and more comfortable. We had a very good stay and would come back.
