Pousada Mar à Vista

The team made me feel so at home, and Patricia and Oriana were wonderful hosts. I arrived as a stranger and left feeling like a friend. Pousada Mar a Vista is only a few meters from the popular Quadrado in Trancoso, with lovely rooms, incredible ocean views, a beautiful infinity pool, and delicious breakfast. They were all willing to go out of their way for guests. I'm already looking forward to visiting again. Thank you, Patricia and Oriana, for such a lovely stay!

After months of trying to decide where to stay for our two-day trip to Trancoso, my partner and I chose Pousada Mar a Vista, and it turned out to be our best decision. The place was stunning and tastefully decorated. Oriana made us feel at home, Mecka helped with our bags, and Zenilda made the best tapioca and omelets I've ever had in Bahia. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to Trancoso.

We nearly chose another hotel because we wanted parking, but I'm so glad we stayed here. The location is perfect, the rooms are spacious and beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and the view is incredible. We normally don't spend much time at hotels, but we did here. Patricia and her daughter were so kind and helpful, and they accommodated our last-minute request to arrive a day early. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Patricia was funny and friendly, and took the time at check-in to show me everything I needed to know about the room. I was surprised by how lovely this little hotel was. It's bright and clean, and I spent a whole afternoon relaxing in the balcony hammock with a breeze and a beautiful view. The next day I stayed by the pool and cafe area, in the shade with music playing. They serve breakfast but no other meals, and the open lounge area still had plenty of space to unwind, with tables, sofas, and a lovely poolside ocean view. The Quadrado is just steps away. I'd definitely recommend it.
