We were two families and felt very well looked after in this lovely house. It has two big bedrooms with air conditioning, plus a well-equipped kitchen with all the utensils, which I found really useful, and even a laundry tub. The atmosphere is great. Breakfast was fresh, though there wasn’t much variety. It’s especially worth recommending for families with kids.

The Vila is in the middle of the woods, so there are a few mosquitoes, but repellent takes care of that. Glauber, the owner, was upbeat, polite, and so attentive, and gave us great tips for outings. Thanks, Glauber! We stayed four days with my family and it was well worth it. The owners and staff were wonderful, and breakfast was delicious and more varied than at any other inn. If you’re staying in Trancoso, this is the best place.

We were made to feel so welcome by everyone. The rooms are cozy, the staff are very polite, and the breakfast is generous. Glauber, who runs the inn, is such a cheerful person, and his mother is wonderful too. A great spot for anyone who enjoys being close to nature.
