We loved the staff here 🫶. Our chalet was listed as having a “compact kitchen,” but it only had a fridge and sink, with no cups, cutlery, stove, or anything to cook with. Luckily, Léo lent us a few things so we could manage. The hotel is beautiful, and we really enjoyed the pool. Bring bug spray 😘

The inn booked a room for price X, then got in touch months later saying the price had been wrong and asking for more money. When I refused, they canceled the reservation.

I wish I'd checked the Google reviews before booking. This inn has the potential to be great, but it feels poorly prepared and like the owner isn't present. When we arrived, the shower was only giving cold water, though a staff member managed to fix it. There were lots of mosquitoes, so we had to buy repellent and insect spray. Since many guests seem to complain about them, the inn could have left some in the rooms. The TV didn't work either. On both days we stayed, the cleaner left our room door unlocked, so our belongings were left in an open room where anyone could have gone in. Things got worse when the property lost power for the entire day on the third day of our four day booking. The owner told us on the phone we'd be refunded, but that didn't happen. I'm still out the cost of two nights we didn't spend there. So unprepared. Don't book here if you want to avoid a lot of hassle.

For a place charging more than two thousand reais a night, there were several things that disappointed me. The bathroom toiletries hadn't been replaced when we arrived: there were used soaps and open shampoo bottles left by the previous guest. The bathroom sink leaked, leaving a puddle under the things we had set down there. The outlet beside the bed was loose, making it hard to charge a phone, and the room lock was faulty. I had to wedge towels against the door to keep it shut because the key wouldn't turn the lock and the door kept opening. There was nobody available to help at night. The contact number for calls and messages also took hours to respond when we asked for assistance. Breakfast was very simple, with few fresh options. I had booked six nights, but after staying two, I decided to move to another inn and asked to end the contract early. I was even willing to pay a penalty, but the owner, Pedro, wouldn't answer my calls and wouldn't accept even the penalty suggested by Booking. I ended up paying for all six nights despite using only two, a total of 14,000 reais. He wouldn't even provide a checkout receipt, so I had to film my husband leaving the keys at reception. Terrible customer service for someone who paid so much. The owner couldn't even be bothered to answer so we could talk. Sadly, I'll be ending the trip by taking legal action over being charged for nights I didn't use.
