Pousada Old West

When it rained, water leaked through the ceiling in two spots, and the metal roofs over the chalets made an awful racket. There was no outside lighting by the guest chalets at night, so we had to use our phone flashlights to get to our room. The light on the manager’s porch was burned out too. Our room had plenty of problems. Water collected on the bathroom floor, which was just painted rather than tiled. The old shower had low water pressure, and the bathroom door latch kept falling off. The fan didn’t work properly on its speed control and was noisy, so they had to find us a table fan. The light bulb had a loose connection and went out whenever the fan was running. Internet didn’t work in the rooms, only in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was decent, except they served the same cake both days. They had the wrong number of people on our reservation, so there wasn’t enough bedding and one child had to sleep on the floor.

We spent the day there and have nothing but thanks to give. Everything was great, and we’ll definitely be back.

My advice: if you’re unhappy with your own home, spend a night at this inn and you’ll go back thanking God for it. Everything was terrible, the service, the food, the lodging. Absolutely horrible. I don’t recommend it!

This is a great place if you love being in nature and spending time with family. The atmosphere is pleasant and family-friendly, there are several activities, and the restaurant has affordable prices and wonderful food. Our host, Antônio, was especially attentive. The water park is large, with pools for all ages, and the horseback ride was magnificent. My family recommends this place.
