Maria was wonderful, really attentive, and looked after us so well. The hostel host, though, was never there in person. He tried to raise the price, kept calling to push for advance payment, and then tried to charge me 100 reais for a supposedly lost key. I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

I left feeling the woman was working for her son every day of the week, with no help, and doing the best she could. Her son only seemed to manage the business, yet refused to honor the booking site's price and wanted to charge more instead.

We were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the owner was and by the facilities. The place was very clean and made us feel at home. The owner let us relax and feel comfortable, so I'd recommend it.

Such a cozy, lovely place, with great hosts and a very affordable price. It's also right next to Gramado. We'll definitely come back 💪
