The view across the mountains and the Paraíba do Sul river is wonderful, and there are lovely places to sit outside on the veranda and balconies. The grounds are spacious, full of greenery, and beautifully laid out. It felt even better in person, with a really welcoming atmosphere. Alexandre was warm, available, and happy to help during my stay. He also gave great advice about things to do in town and nearby, both urban and outdoors. If you're learning Brazilian Portuguese, he's patient about helping you practice. I had a great time here and highly recommend it.

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the shower had hot water. I loved the huge veranda and the welcoming atmosphere of this enormous old house. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.

What makes this hotel feel different is how free you are to settle in, almost as if you were at home. Alexandre's service was excellent, too. It's a cozy place and very reasonably priced.

There was a well equipped kitchen with pots, a stove, and a fridge, and everything was really clean and organized. The house has a lovely atmosphere and lots of trees, with fruit in the yard depending on the season. The location is convenient, close to a supermarket.

A peaceful, quiet place to rest, and so beautiful. The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. I can see why people who discover this place come back again. It really feels like a blessing.
