The place is fully equipped: air conditioning, a fan, a complete kitchen, an individual barbecue spot, a treated pool, and parking. There's a market practically next door, and it's easy to get to the main highway that leads to the beaches. The neighborhood has everything too, including a market, restaurant, and pharmacy. I needed the UBS and was welcomed there. Sr Jair and dona Alba are very helpful, and the check-in and check-out flexibility was great. I've been more than once and will be back.

Please be very careful booking this place. I paid the reservation fee in advance and paid the rest when I arrived, which was my mistake. The place hadn't been treated for pests and was infested with cockroaches, all over the place, including the kitchen cupboards and sinks. The floor was covered in ants, and smells kept coming up from the drains. The owner was staying there with his family. When I raised the issue, he said cockroaches were normal because it's in a wooded area. I don't agree, they're attracted to leftover rubbish and food that hasn't been stored properly. The room also had a strong moldy smell, and the sofa bed smelled of sweat. It was awful. Music by the pool was loud the whole time, so we couldn't even talk. After all that, I told the owner my family and I were leaving because the place wasn't remotely hygienic. We hadn't even been there 24 hours. When I asked about a refund, he said he'd think about it and get back to me. He never did. I messaged him, and he just reads them without replying. As a customer, I felt cheated and lost my money. I only saved the vacation because I found somewhere else, but had to pay again. A warning to everyone. I'd give zero stars if that were an option.

This is a great place for families, very cozy and comfortable, and right next to the road leading to Ubatuba's beaches. The chalet had all the utensils we needed for an easy stay. Sr Jair, the host, and the caretakers were always helpful and concerned about our comfort. We loved everything it offered and will definitely return with our family.
