At night, bring good mosquito spray. There are lots of mosquitoes and no net, unfortunately. Fabio and Arlindo made me feel at home from the moment they welcomed me. The kitchen and toilet are simple, but very clean and well equipped. I’d definitely go back and highly recommend it.

Getting around is easy from here, with places to buy food and drinks nearby and both the sea and river close by. Crossing the river on foot or by boat is incredible. The shared spaces make the place feel magical, and everything is tidy and super clean because we all look after it. You can see the care in the materials and every detail. Fabio greeted everyone with a big smile and was attentive and respectful. He’s the best, and chatting with the owner is a great way to learn a lot. Ecotourism is guaranteed. I miss that corner of Itamambuca already, and definitely want to return. 🥰💖
