Chalés Portal do Sol

The chalets are simple but lovely and cozy, and they were very clean and organized. The location is convenient for shops and beaches. My husband and I stayed here on two vacations in a row, and I still have fond memories of the place. It was a restful base after exploring this delightful city, its many beaches, and its paradise-like islands. I'd recommend it and hope to return as soon as I can.

I had a great stay last year with seven friends in two chalets, and everything went smoothly. But when I tried to book again this year, the service had changed a lot. Emails took two or three days to get a reply, and the people who answered the phone seemed completely unprepared and couldn't give me the information I needed. When I finally got an email, it was very rude and still didn't clear up my questions. The whole thing was so stressful that I gave up on booking. It's a great place, which makes it a shame that the staff's lack of preparation is driving guests away.

My family was very comfortable in the chalet. It was well organized, the people were friendly, and the beaches were easy to get to. Sandra, the owner, welcomed us from arrival through departure, and staying at this inn was worth it. Thanks as well to the friends I made there, Tiago and broders! A fantastic chalet.

I'm really upset. In January I asked for a quote, and they sent me a price list and confirmed it was for 2018. The quote was R$ 850,00 for five days in April. When I went to book in February at that price, it had suddenly gone up to R$ 1.100,00 for the same dates. If the prices could change, they should have told me when I first got in touch. The person who helped me didn't seem interested in sorting it out or even trying to find a better solution. I would've become a new customer, but not anymore, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
