Hostel Rayan

Dona Cléo was lovely and very friendly, but my comments are about the property itself. It’s a very simple place, and the Booking photos made it look better than it did in person. We arrived in the rain and had to wait in a nearby room because the place was closed. There are three rooms and two bathrooms, and the kitchen is shared. I like having privacy, so the fact that nobody else had rented a room on our day made me feel more at ease. If shared spaces bother you, this may not suit you. The amenities were Wi-Fi and a hot shower, plus a chest freezer used as a fridge. There are only a few utensils for making a snack. No TV, no air conditioning, and the fan was stuck on its strongest setting and wouldn’t turn or slow down. Bring your own towels. There weren’t enough blankets for everyone if the place were full. The garage is narrow and tiny, with room for only two cars, and even then it’s a tight fit. There’s no breakfast, and if you stay more than two days you’ll have to clean the place. There’s a supermarket nearby, as well as snack bars and restaurants close to the rooms. The owner herself was very pleasant, but the accommodation wasn’t for me.

Such a cozy, clean place, and the reception was great. The simple breakfast was wonderful, and Dona Cléo is a sweetheart. I’d definitely recommend it.

The Hostel has a really pleasant, tidy atmosphere and a handy location. There’s a shared kitchen with a stove, freezer, pots, and other things. Cléo, the owner, was wonderful, welcoming, and full of positive energy. She was also so kind to our little dog and happily let pets stay. There’s a hammock under some trees, just right for unwinding after a trip to the beaches. I loved it! 🥰

The Hostel was quiet, comfortable, clean, and well organized, with a great location and a very good breakfast. Dona Cleo and her children welcomed my family with so much warmth. They were attentive, friendly, and polite. We had a wonderful experience and I’d absolutely recommend the place 😃😍
