Hotel Pousada Miramar

Really nice.

It was just okay.

The location is excellent, very close to the beach. The rooms are basic but have what you need. Breakfast has plenty of variety, and the staff are polite and attentive.

We had a really pleasant stay, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cozy, with fresh smelling towels and bed linen. The air conditioning and outlets worked perfectly, and even during peak season we had no problems. Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of choices for different tastes and everything fresh. In the afternoon you could smell the bread being made. The hotel is comfortable for a night and the start of the morning, though I did miss having a more interactive leisure area. There are only tables and chairs. The internet didn't reach our room despite there being plenty of routers, but that wouldn't be a big issue if you're out during the afternoon. Getting back into the neighborhood can be awkward because the entrance is almost on the highway, and dodging traffic there may be dangerous. The garage entrance was also a bit inconvenient, especially in the rain, since you have to use the intercom. A remote for guests might help. Aside from those things, we were treated very well and would definitely return.
