We booked a room, but the price went up after we arrived. Then we were thrown out in a humiliating way. They took our things out and wouldn't let us back in. The service was shocking, and it was a sad experience in such a beautiful place.

The couple who own the place were lovely and ready to help with anything, from tips to instructions. They made my stay perfect. It's a beautiful, relaxing spot in a great location, with birds everywhere and a magical atmosphere. The room doors didn't seal completely, but when I asked for another blanket, I got one right away.

The staff were great and really kind, and the cooker and fridge worked fine. Still, I wouldn't recommend this hostel, and I won't be going back. We stayed briefly over the year end, and there were problems throughout: the internet never worked, the flat had no small towels, and the pillows had no pillowcases on the first day. We also had a complete water shortage, with no water from any tap. The beds were uncomfortable, and the sheets were anything but cotton. It rained nonstop, as it apparently often does there at that time of year, leaving the roads ankle deep in mud. There's no parking, so you have to leave your car outside in the rain and walk in with muddy shoes.
