Pousada Pazuu

For evening walks, the pousada's location close to downtown worked really well. The staff were all polite, and my room was comfortable and very clean. It was the best accommodation I've had in Ubatuba. I had a bathtub in my room, and both the hot water and the water massage worked well. The water pressure was incredible. There was also a climate-controlled pool and two hot tubs.

After our five-hour bus ride from Sao Paulo to Ubatuba, my partner and I were relieved to reach the beautiful, peaceful pousada pazuu. We speak only English, so arriving somewhere new where people might not speak our language can feel daunting, but the staff were able to accommodate us. The service was the part that made the stay so special. Every staff member was lovely, upbeat, chatty, and knowledgeable about the hotel and area. They made sure we had what we needed, and both breakfast and the afternoon food were amazing. The pool, sauna, and two jacuzzis were gorgeous, the loungers comfortable, and the food fresh. We really appreciated the big smiles and warmth from everyone. The location suited us perfectly, with the center and the water both about a five-minute walk away, along with great shopping, incredible food, and stunning views. Our room was spacious, clean, simple, and beautiful, with a large hot tub style bathtub. Champagne made our first night especially relaxing. It was our second anniversary, and the staff arranged a surprise with champagne, chocolates, and rose petals in the room. They even put a framed photo of one of our favorite memories on the bed. I thanked my partner for organizing it, but the staff made it happen and helped make the trip so memorable. Calling pazuu a two-star hotel is absolutely insane. It felt like a five-star experience, with a five-star room and amenities and ten-star service. If you're considering a place to stay in Ubatuba, for yourself or with your partner, this is the one we'd choose.

The rooms were neat and tidy, and the pool and breakfast were great. It's within walking distance of the coast, the center, and some good restaurants. A very nice hotel.
